    This is the pizza of my youth! Lol. We came here all the time as teens, and it is still the same. Love it. Delicious NY style Pizza, hot and fresh, that's nothing better! I haven't sat down inside in over 20 yrs, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere. But grabbing a whole pie or 2 to go is great.

    The place of this pizzeria seems quite small when you enter., but when you enter you see another room with chairs and tables. I love pizza and it is one of my delights during a date night with my husband. This pizza has a variety of good quality ingredients. We ate Florio's Special, which includes: pepperoni, sausage, peppers & onions, mushrooms, black olives and extra cheese. The quantity of the ingredients was exact and it even seemed that the ingredients were placed in a very specific way to obtain an explosion of flavors in the mouth. The pizza was thin in the center and gradually thicker towards the edges.

    This is not a fancy place--and I'm fine that. I only order pizza here....and after being at 20-30 pizza places, this is one of the better places to get pizza in San Antonio (if it's your jam). We asked for our pizza to be well-done--it came out in perfection...thank you for listening!! Keep it going Florio's--see you soon!

    It's Jersey style pie and subs in Alamo Heights. Fun fact: Judge John H. "Maximum John" Woods was assassinated a short walk from here by Woody Harrelson's pop in 1979
